Our story
HI !!!
My name is Bree (Breanna) and I am the face behind Modern Play Perth. This is my gorgeous little family… My handsome hubby Scott, my delicious boy Nate, and my two gorgeous babes Ayla and Emmi. Scott and I are also angel parents to our first born - Kyah, who we lost in utero when I was 8 months pregnant. She shapes us as a family and will always be a big part of our lives.
Life was super crazy so I thought to myself - How about I start a business! :)
I have always been that person who is a little bit extra when it comes to planning events… and I am also that mum that wears white ALL the time and get asked how I do that with small children….. oh and that mum who buys white everything for the house….. so it made sense my business would reside around the space of style and kids! :)
When planning Ayla’s 1st birthday, I was meticulous with how I wanted the house to be styled to match the theme. And then the soft play arrived for the day that I had hired and I found myself trying to move it to the outer corner of the room as it was quite jarring being all the primary bright colours. This made my brain whizz and this is where the conception for my idea began.
IS IT possible…..to find white soft play on the market to hire out as an alternative to the bright colours? Will people see the value in it or think it is impractical? I sat on these questions and did some research for 1 year until I made the dive and decided to get everything custom made so it matched my vision entirely :)

Something that is important to me is creating a brand and a service that is by families for families. I want my products and my customer experience to be memorable and at an exceptional standard. I am always open to feedback and I try to work with the families and cater for the event they wish to create for their little one. I have no minimum hire time and I like to make deliveries work around yours and my family.
